In addition to our previous sections, we’ve just rolled out a new “Under $20” category, where you’ll find wines like the 2017 Zantho from Austria, which is just $16 while supplies last.
Here’s what Jenn has to say about the 2017 Zantho: “Grown in the dry, gritty, and mineral soils of eastern Austria ideal for cultivating Blaufrankisch, this expression of the varietal showcases a vibrant and fruit forward nose with notes of blackberry, lingonberry, black currant, and slight impressions of smoke. The fruit carries over to the exceptionally smooth and delicate palate which also displays spicy, earthy flavors such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and cigar box. Pairing suggestions: smoked turkey, roasted pork loin, cassoulet, sweet potato pie, cinnamon roasted acorn squash.”
