Winter Dinner Menu

Bellflower is not only staying open through the pandemic, but we’re continuing to innovate and grow in response to the needs of our community. Over the past several weeks, we have expanded our bakery, allowing us to keep our sandwich counter open all day, and we’ve just launched a rotating to-go dinner menu that we’re incredibly proud of.

We’ll offer the following dinners, with weekly variations. Check our website for details.

We know these are difficult times, but we hope that you’ll find some comfort in the meals we’re preparing here at Bellflower.

SUNDAY: Whole Roast Chicken Dinner Night…  Order a Bellflower herb-roasted, free-range chicken ($23) and then build your meal by adding sides. Sides include; market greens with lemon dressing ($7), roasted potatoes ($8), skillet vegetables ($7), toasted milk bread ($6), Duke’s chocolate cake ($18). 

MONDAY: Chicken Pot Pie Night… Herb-roasted chicken in a flaky cornmeal crust, full of peas, carrots, and potatoes, and topped with Chef Dan’s angel biscuits ($24).

TUESDAY: Sandwich Special Night… Check the Bellflower website every week for a sandwich special on Tuesday nights. It may be a special sandwich from our smoker, or a free order of rice and beans with the purchase of any two sandwiches, or a free sandwich with the purchase of a few bottles of wine, but it’s our intention to always be doing something interesting involving our sandwiches on Tuesday evenings. 

WEDNESDAY: Pork Spare Ribs Night…  Order a half-slab of Bellflower’s smoked spare ribs ($21), and build your meal with the addition of Steen’s Cane Sugar beans and peas ($9), collard greens ($8), cornbread muffins ($3 per), cheddar grits ($9). (Pickup option: Come see the smoker! We invite you to drive around to the back of our building and watch as Jesse pulls your ribs out of the smoker and dishes out your sides.)

THURSDAY: Vegetarian Dinner Night… Every Thursday, we’ll have something delicious for our vegetarian friends. Right now, we’re offering vegetarian stroganoff featuring oyster and lions-mane mushrooms from the Detroit Mushroom Company.

FRIDAY: Chef’s Choice Night…  Every Friday night, Chef Dan and the Bellflower kitchen team will help you get your weekend off to an awesome start with a take-home diner worthy of the Bellflower name. Will your Bellflower favorites from the past come back? Stay tuned to find out.

SATURDAY: Jambalaya Night… And we save the best for last. On Saturday nights, Bellflower will be serving Jambalaya with whole blue crab, large gulf shrimp, house-made andouille, tomato and rice ($35).
